Beginnings: Photographs FROM THe 80s and 90s

I started to take photography seriously in the 80s, and a lot of that was due to an exhibition of the Krnov photographer Gustav Aulehla, which I saw as a high school student. Thanks to him I discovered that photographs can tell stories. It is clear from the pictures that Aulehla (and with him also H. C. Bresson and many other stars of Czech and world humanistic photography) were my great and unattainable role models at that time. Here you can see some of my pictures from the 1980s (they are mostly from the streets of Prague) and from the early 1990s, when I started working as an journalist and photographer in the editorial office of the newly established Krnovské noviny newspaper.
